I think we 'may have' ( ) fixed the MultiPlayer problems of the Victorious. I'm not counting chickens just yet, but it's a tentative 'yes' for usability. I believe the last issue was taken care of by unscrambling the MPCarrier Nasal script I messed up. At this time Voodoo and I have working versions that should be identical.

Making it a painless installation for the rest of you guys is next, hopefully. :)

Seems to be working for RAFDave as well! :cheer:

We had an excellent debugging session last evening and managed to get it all working well enough that we can see the carrier and land on it - I have some video I'll try and get a VidBit up this evening.

We have a winner. This carrier has more character than the others and caters to my first love...Tail Draggers!! :woohoo:

I am beside myself with glee and having too much fun with this idea.

Yes it's a big step in the right direction, although we should keep the 'glee' part down to a dull roar. Just to keep Stuart happy.

I think we will have to suggest that Dave change his name to FAADave, he will soon learn to like Service Rum Grog.

Les if you replicate the directory structure from the data folder,

ie.

AI/hms_victorious_demo .xml
Models/Geometry/HMS_Victorious/*.*
Aircraft/MPCarrier/_victorious-set.xml
Aircraft/MPCarrier/Models/*.*
Aircraft/MPCarrier/Systems/*.*

then all that will be needed is to extract the zip to the data folder and all files should be in the right folders.

Hope it works as well as I think it should.

The following Zip is of ver 0.2

unfortunately the file won't upload.

Les , I see there are 3 downloads all relating to the V0.3 version. any chance you can create a single zip file so I can move it to the public area ?

I Had some luck with the wakes from the Vinson :)

I used the Vinson's xml wake code and had to make a folder in
data/Models/Effects called Wakes2 and changed the code to have the
HMS Victorious speed data in steed off the Vinson's.

Fecking *AwEsOme*! :woohoo:

I gotta get you my MP stuff so that you can get the MP Victorious running. Maybe this week - maybe not. RL will be kicking me in the nether regions this week until I possibly get a new job offer and submit notice at my current employer.

Until that it's a lot of useless speculation as to my state of anxiety and brain space for other things.

Nice work with the wake, Mark. Awesome effect!
